It works fine at least on the XP SP3 machines I tested it on. If you find bugs please let me know.
Kudos to Nahuel, Larry, Monamor, xwinterx, November, WideBoyDixon, Hest, insignia96 and billthecreator at the AutoIt Forum for parts of the code…
2nd posting attempt at funk.
Still works great in 2024!
To recompile in AutoIT 33145 (possibly later vers too),
I had to add this Include:
WinAPIGdiDC.au3

Thanks for that hint, didn’t touch that code for some 15 years. Glad to hear that it’s still valuable to you! I still use it myself too :).
10/10/24. Still relevant!! and Thanks for publishing source code!
I d/l the source but could not get it to recompile in AutoIT 33145 for Win10 x64 until I added
#include
Awesome Awesome program dude, I love it!
It’s a great job an a very useful programming tool.
Thanks a lot for it.
What a great little program! JS Morley at Rainmeter Forum http://www.rainmeter.net/forum/index.php recommended it, and it is awesome. I like to tweak colors on all my rainmeter apps and this makes it so easy to do. Thanks so much!
